Shelters for Domestic Abuse VictimsDomestic Violence Shelter provided by The Refuge Network sheltering and giving help to victims of domestic abuse in Chisago County, Kanabec, County, and Isanti County.

Black Dog Hill shelter can provide safety for up to 15 women and children leaving domestic and family violence situations.  Opening a shelter is a huge undertaking, one which we could not do alone.  Although, organizations such as the United Way, the Mardag Foundation, WCA-Pillsbury and the Otto Bremer Foundation have shown us amazing support we still need your help for the ongoing expenses of our shelter and office operations.
