Pajama Pride Project

You Can Help Provide Pajama Bags for Women & Children Escaping from Domestic Abuse

It takes a lot of courage for women to leave their abuser. Many are in immediate danger and are forced to leave with their children with no possessions. This is where the Pajama Pride project comes in and you can help!

Pajama Pride helps women and children escape domestic abuse and violence in Chisago, Kanabec, Pine and Isanti counties in Minnesota. The mission of the project is to provide a personalized bag for each woman and child that seeks emergency shelter at the Refuge Network’s Black Dog Hill Domestic Abuse Shelter.

A custom bag that is age and gender specific provides pajamas, slipper socks and toiletries for each person. These bags help women and children feel more welcomed and comfortable during their time of transition.

Please consider a gift to the Refuge Network for the Pajama Pride project. Your support will provide meaningful comfort to women and children as they take their first steps towards a safe life free from abuse.
